The Role

As a Technical SEO Executive you’ll be working within the Technical team and will be responsible for carrying out technical audits and related work for clients to help improve their online presence. This is a varied role and a great opportunity to work on and improve a wide range of websites within a variety of sectors. You should have existing technical SEO knowledge, love digging through code and have a strong analytical approach and problem solving skills.

The Job Involves;

  • Conducting and presenting in-depth Technical SEO audits
  • Working closely with the team on managing and implementing technical strategies and recommendations
  • Keeping up to date with all of the latest technical SEO developments,
  • Performing regular technical reviews and analysis of existing clients
  • Assisting clients with technical questions and requests
  • Carrying out bespoke technical tasks as requested by the team
  • Communicating with clients, web developers and the team on timelines, objectives, strategies and results

About you;

  • 1+ years experience within a Technical SEO role
  • Understanding and knowledge of best practices for all aspects of technical SEO including crawl management, website architecture, mobile, structured data, international SEO etc
  • Proven experience of successfully performing Technical SEO audits for a range of clients
  • Be comfortable explaining complex technical subjects and recommendations to clients, web developers and the team
  • Be passionate about the search industry and keeping up to date with the latest developments
  • Knowledge of tools such as Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, Sitebulb, SEMRush, Majestic etc
  • Professional & strong communication skills (written and oral)
  • Can multi-task and work to a deadline
  • Be self motivated and able to take initiative
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organisational skills


  • Website development experience
  • Website migration experience
  • Log file analysis experience
  • Understanding and experience of Javascript frameworks
  • Understanding of Google Tag Manager
  • Experience and knowledge of implementing audit recommendations within CMS systems such as WordPress, Magento, Joomla etc
