Some of the brands featured in-store include Fabbian, makers of some of the most beautiful contemporary lighting in the world, and Swarovski, the masters in crystal craftsmanship.

Challenge

With the rise of Instagrammable homes and interior design pride, having a beautiful home has never been more important. One of iLite’s trophy terms, ‘Modern lighting’, receives over 3,000 searches every month, posing a strong level of competition when getting the brand’s name noticed online.

The main focus was getting iLite’s brands into the top 3 results when searched for on Google, meaning we had to surpass the efforts of other retailers such as Debenhams and Wayfair.

Strategy

Due to the nature of the products iLite sell, we were able to create enticing content which was not only optimised but also engaging. A main component of the strategy was to carry out a continual, optimised update of brands, products and category pages across the site.

We also recognised that targeting high-quality domains through link building tasks would see the site’s traffic levels increase dramatically. We know that this, combined with clever on-site optimisation, would see iLite ranking higher in the SERPs alongside an increase in revenue.
