We compiled our best SEO and digital marketing events across London, the UK and beyond in 2019, and enjoyed it so much, we’ve done the same here for 2020!

Women in Tech SEO – 6th March 2020
In honour of International Women’s Day, the Women in Tech SEO Festival will be the first ever full day conference of its kind with a female-only line-up and attendees! You can expect invaluable tips from some of the most experienced women from across the industry. You can find this event at the Barbican Centre, London!
MKGO – 20th March 2020
If you’re looking for an awesome day event in a cool venue, MKGO certainly offers that. Set in the beautiful “MK-7” venue at Red Bull Racing’s factory in Milton Keynes, nine of the world’s leading digital marketing experts will be on stage full of insight and new skills for you to take away. Topics include optimisation, automation, content and paid advertising!
Marketing Tech Expo – 25-26 March 2020
Taking place again at ExCel London (Exhibition Centre London, based in Canning Town), the Marketing Tech Expo is one of the largest Martech events available for digital marketing professionals to attend.
With 1,000 exhibitors and 500 seminars expected to take place, it’s an event you won’t want to miss. From learning about the latest technology and tools available to marketers to updating your marketing techniques for 2020, a wealth of information will be available.
BrightonSEO – 16-17 April 2020 & 1-2 October 2020
Whilst it’s not a one-off event and it runs for two weekends, BrightonSEO is one of the most sought-after SEO events to attend. With the conference taking place on April 17th, the day before shall consist of training and fringe conferences. The in-depth discussions are carried out by experts and cover a wide range of SEO principles and knowledge. The second weekend will take place on October 1st and 2nd, so it’s definitely worth making a note of these dates too for later in the year.

ATOMICON – 27-28 April 2020
Aimed at helping small businesses to grow, ATOMICON prides itself on helping SMEs to gain leads and sales.
If you’re hoping to learn how to expand your audience and scale your business to meet the increased audience reach, this is probably one of the best events you could attend.
Whilst it’s still located in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, this year the ATOMICON venue has switched to The Gateshead.
Digital Marketing Summit – 11 June 2020
From analytics to the marketing funnel, discussions scheduled for this year’s Digital Marketing Summit will explore many aspects of digital marketing.
Taking place at 65 Queen’s Gate in Kensington, London, the summit focuses on the latest trends and digital marketing strategies, advising on the latest techniques businesses need to adopt. It’s therefore a great event to attend to get an idea of upcoming changes within SEO and digital marketing, so you know what to expect throughout 2020.
Creative North – 19th June 2020
For all the content marketers out there, Hampson Nattan Williams has an excellent event for you in the northern powerhouse of Manchester. After last year’s inaugural “The Future of Content” conference, Creative North will be back again this year to give you the industry knowledge you need to succeed with your content.

Festival of Marketing – 7-8 October 2020
Following the merging of the Festival of Marketing with Marketing Week Live, the joint event will now take place at Tobacco Dock, London in Wapping, East London.
With 100 exhibitors and approximately 5,500 attendees expected to be at the event, this will be an excellent opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals.
#MarTechFestGlobal – 19-23 October (UK) & 5th November (Australia)
The self styled “anti conference”, #MarTechFestGlobal is an event that takes the complexities of marketing technology and makes them more accessible. You can expect delicious food, games, DJ sets alongside invaluable industry advice.
2020 also marks the inaugural #MarTechFestAPAC in Australia at Sydney’s Carriageworks. Up to 300 CMOs and senior marketers are welcomed to an action packed day, featuring talks from influencers, beers with peers and plenty of hip hop!
SearchLeeds – Date TBC
SearchLeeds is a marketing event that covers a wide remit of digital marketing elements, each with a dedicated stage for talks on each aspect.
Whilst some of the details are yet to be confirmed for 2020, this annual event covers everything from technical SEO and analytics to PPC and social media. 2019 also saw the addition of a fourth stage, which meant a more diverse range of discussions and speakers. It’ll be interesting to see how this year’s event compares.
UnGagged – TBC 2020 (UK & USA)
For another awesome two-day SEO and digital marketing conference, check out UnGagged the conference that promises you can hear what the experts won’t say anywhere else – it’s also not recorded! You can expect talks on SEO, technical SEO, CRO, PPC, content and more! If you’re looking for an event with an exclusive feel, UnGagged is for you. Catch them in London and Los Angeles during 2020!
Digital Women Live – TBC 2020
Empowering 1 million women to stay relevant in the digital marketing industry, Digital Women is a skills sharing community, allowing people to be inspired by leading female figures in the industry. Each year, they host a big show to bring this thriving community together. Last year’s event took place during November and we can’t wait to attend again this year!
