When I was asked to speak at September 2017’s installment of Brighton SEO, I was thrilled. I decided the subject of my talk would be, ‘SEO Quick Wins from a Technical Check’. As you can tell, the focus of this talk took a much a more hands-on approach with actionable points that people could go back and implement into their site. What’s great about these technical SEO quick wins is the fact that you’ll see rapid results in visibility and rankings once you’ve successfully applied them.
Why do an SEO technical check?
A strategic SEO technical check can help you drive more revenue and traffic to your site, but you need to know what to look for, and how to spot any potential issues. You also need to know how to fix any problems, which will be beneficial to your site. I’ve looked at technical issues such as 301 redirects, robots.txt files and crawl budget, sitemaps, canonical tags and optimisation, which can all be found by using the technical SEO tools, Screaming Frog, Deep Crawl, Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
