Cult is a well-established clothing retailer with nearly 40 outlets in the UK, more than 50 concessions in House of Fraser stores and a significant international presence, including franchised outlets in Europe, the US and Australia.

Cult clothing has a unique look, which combines Japanese design features with a vintage American style, something that has been helping it stand out from other fashion stores for the past 25 years.

As the Cult team clearly don’t need any help with their style, we’ll be working on the search engine optimisation (SEO) of their site and looking at cost per click management across a number of online advertising campaigns.

We’re hoping to improve on the success of our Superdry project, which saw the number of visits to the site increase by 15 per cent in just three weeks, with like for like sales shooting up by 10 per cent over the same period.

We're all going on a Co-op Holiday

Lichfield-based Co-op Holidays, which has been offering package holidays, city breaks, cruises and flights since the middle of this Century has appointed us to implement consistent online marketing activity across a number of digital platforms.

The travel agency is part of the Midlands Co-operative Society and has high street branches throughout the UK.

We’re now managing the organic search engine optimisation and cost per click on www.co-opholidays.co.uk, as well as repositioning their Twitter and Facebook offerings.

We’ll also be using advanced analytics to deliver accurate measurements of return on investment across all platforms.

Obviously we’re thrilled that Co-op Holidays picked us because of our experience and proven ability to achieve great results in the ever-expanding digital arena, where we have worked with big brands such as Superdry, Aviva Insurance and ITV Drama.

We’re really looking forward to working with Co-op Holidays, almost as much as actually going on holiday!

Digital TLC for Superdry

Superdry recently launched a brand new ecommerce site for this terrific brand and our requirement was to streamline their online marketing proposition to ensure maximum exposure across a multitude of disciplines. The project covers Organic Search Engine Optimisation of the new site, Cost Per Click management across Google, Yahoo & Bing, Facebook & other Online advertising campaigns and a repositioning & branding of Social Networking collateral on Twitter & Facebook accounts. Our advanced Analytics implementation is also providing transparent measurement for true Return on Investment figures across all mediums.

Whilst it is still early days and there are many other factors involved, our first 3 weeks on the project has shown an increase in visitors of 15% along with like for like sales up over 10%.

EH Smith go Digital The brief was to design & build a family of websites, along with a fully integrated enterprise level e-commerce system - the first of which will be launched in April 2010 for the core business. EH Smith was established in Birmingham in 1922 and has grown to become one of the largest independent builders merchants in the UK with a turnover of approx £120 mil. The company has 8 trading locations across the Midlands and South East, which have been serving local trade professionals and the general public for many years.

The primary goal for the development of this website was to allow customers to fully understand the extent of services EH Smith can offer. With the imminent launch of its customised enterprise level e-commerce system, customers will have the opportunity to review and purchase its wide product range and specialist services.

Game for ITV Drama / Aviva

This viral was created in order to reinforce the Aviva Financial Wellbeing Roadshow campaign handled by Stickee. As Aviva sponsor ITV Drama the requirement was to develop a Batak game for the ITV website that would sell the proposition and encourage use of the game by linking it to a global high score system. The end result was a crisp clean interface and some great scores.

Shaylor Group Relaunch

One of our favourite clients recently asked us to redesign their new corporate website to bring it in line with current trends whilst also incorporating an intelligent navigation that communicates their business activity across multiple sectors in which they operate.

Shaylor Group provides a full range of building and construction solutions to a wide range of customers in both the public and private sector with an annual turnover in excess of £40mil for the last financial year. We started with a planned approach to repositioning their six brands, thus ensuring that all of the business’ offered an opportunity to cross pollinate information for existing and potential clients.


Supported with a complex but surprisingly simple to use bespoke CMS the site now offers an opportunity for Shaylor to shout about some of the fantastic projects that they are working on.

New Charity Website Delivered

We've just launched the website of a great charity organisation in the midlands. The brief from Summit House Support was to create an inclusive and accessible website with a modern look and feel which is sympathetic to the subject matter.

The result is a fresh new look for the charity that works closely with people in the Midlands that are affected or living with HIV & Aids. The site incorporates a bespoke CMS that enables the client to update many areas of the site and passed CSS & HTML Validation.

Estilo Interiors 3 Week Re Branding

Estilo Interiors came to us in April with just 3 weeks to completely rebrand their company to include a new website, brochures, stationary, bags, pens and an exhibition stand. 

Being the ‘bring it on’ lot we are, we rose to the challenge and set about working closely with the client to realise their vision of a fresh new brand identity.  The outcome is a slick new website complimented by an image rich brochure designed to showcase Estilo’s work to the full.  The supporting stationary and promotional items complete the rebrand, catapulting Estilo firmly into 2009.
 
Result: a rather sweaty Ricemedia team and a super-happy client… Mission Accomplished.

… and yes, we did meet the deadline.

Tried Google Voice Search Yet ?

If you’re an iPhone or Raspberry (I mean Blackberry) user then you may or may not know about the brilliant Voice Search on Google.

For iPhone users you activate it through the settings in the Google App’ and once started, you speak into your device for the search that you require. Sound good ? Well there’s a little bit of a problem. It only seems to be efficient if you have strong American accent. Google have said that they expect to release an update in the very near future however until then you may be resigned to shouting profusely in a ridiculous accent and receiving strange results (and looks).

It currently makes for good “Gadget Bragging” just make sure you test it for successful results before showing anyone else!
